Personal Profile: Michela Caravati, Founder of EmotiHOME
I believe every house has its soul.
Sometimes it’s stifled by our disorder piled up over the years, hidden under not exactly the right colours or furniture.
I love the challenge of feeling that soul, of letting it shine and giving it value. This can make someone feel the joy of living there again or someone else find their own home.
I love to travel and on every trip the place I stay is not just a place to stay: it must be a source of emotion and inspiration. Gypsy for study, work and family needs (and for nature, first of all!), I’ve lived in many houses becoming passionate about their discovery every time and feeling joy in getting the best out of them.
After graduating in occupational and organisational psychology and 15 years in Human Resources in services, events and manufacturing organisations, I felt the need to change my professional life and to start again doing something that thrills me.
I started my training in Home Philosophy Academy in Milan (Italy) and falling in love with home staging has been natural for me.
Now I live in UK where, I’m sure, there are many houses with beautiful hidden souls!
